I think that it’s ironic that a self-taught photographer from Philadelphia who had a very bad sense of style is now a Published Fashion Photographer. Three times in Denver’s very own Defined Magazine and once in the International Shutter Magazine. It just goes to show that you can do anything you put your mind to. I still remember when I first became interested in Fashion Photography. My dad and I attended this wildly popular Shutterfest Photography Conference in St. Louis, where I got to see that there was so much more to Fashion photography than just clicking the button and hoping that the image on my screen looked like what my eyes saw through the viewfinder. I loved that each photoshoot was unique and I could control the posing, the lighting, and wasn’t constrained to shooting in a studio. My favorite Fashion shoots are outdoors and often mixed in with unique landscape elements and a blue (or partially cloudy) sky.
